FUNERAL INSURANCE
The average cost of a burial or cremation in Spain is around €3.200, and
this can be a financial burden in the sad case of the loss of a loved one.
Many people plan for these expenses by taking out a Funeral Insurance where
they can pay monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual premiums.
The
insurance company cover all the costs of the funeral service, which in Spain
usually has to be within 48 hours, and unlike life insurance there is no
wait for the death certificate etc. The policy can also include costs of
bringing the deceased back to Spain from abroad for interrment or cremation, or
indeed repatriating the deceased for burial or cremation in the country of origin.
COMMUNITY INSURANCE
This policy covers the normal perils for Buildings and Communal Contents for
blocks of apartments or urbanisations of private houses that have formed a
residents community.
ACCIDENT INSURANCE
To cover Death or Injury sustained through an accident.
SICKNESS BENEFIT INSURANCE
Compenstaion for interruption of your professional career due to an illness or an accident.
